School Days

Our little girl started school in September.   She had to say goodbye to her daycare mother, Marina.  Brenna loved Marina and did really well at her home.  By the end, she spoke only Dutch when she was there.  As much as she loved Marina, she was ready for school.  In Belgium all children start school at 2.5 (with the chance to start several times over the year, not just September), so many of her little friends had already left.  Liam helped make the last day special by bringing flowers.

Here is the dynamic duo on their first day of school.  Brenna chose a Hello Kitty shirt to match her backpack.  Liam was very good about showing his sister the ropes.  They are right next door to each other and the KG1 and KG2 classes even do some activities together. They love it.  We have already had our first parent teacher conference and they are doing great.
