Our big "holiday" this summer was a cruise with Norwegian Cruise Line that left from Barcelona and stopped in Pisa, Rome, Naples, and Majorca. The idea for a cruise came from a co-worker who had also lived in Europe with two little ones. As you can tell from our posts, we take the kids all over the place and try and make it fun for them. The selling point about the cruise was that the fun for them was already built in. Besides the standard pools/game rooms, this cruise even came complete with Dora and Sponge Bob! Other major pluses were the Kids Club and since NCL is American based - English! We had an amazing time. It was fun for everyone. The kids LOVED the ship. Hugh and I loved all the family time, and of course the ports were fabulous but I will save those details for the next few blog posts.

This is how mad Brenna was that we came to get her.
She was watching Dora and did not like being interrupted. |

Kids Club had a Pajama Party the last night.
LIFE ON THE SHIP |
 |
| Bowling! |

| Brenna called it the "Hot Pool" |

Pure joy, most likely due to being able to get as much American breakfast
food as they wanted. We miss bacon, Cheerios, and bagels!
|
 |
| We were able to see the Blue Man Group and Cirque Du Soleil - great shows! |
 |
| They took freestyle cruising seriously. Lunch was on our deck, clothing optional. |
Port pictures to follow on next blogs!
