| View from the Watch Tower |
We stayed within the walls of the city. They do not allow much car traffic, so it was so easy to walk around with the kids. Our hotel was an old Brew house and we were able to get a triple room for that easily fit all of us and my mom. I love how the European hotels offer all different types of rooms.

We started the first day by climbing one of the towers for a view of the city. We then took a long walk on the wall of the city. It really is amazing that so much of it still exists.

After the wall tour we explored the rest of the city. Just walking around looking at the houses was enough to make the trip worth it!

After having a delicious dinner of Spaetzle, we took a night tour of the city with the Nightwatchman. Very informative and family friendly tour.

Time to go home, but the kids needed a nice German snack first!
